Q 1.  How fast do these bikes go?

A.  An unmodified bike will go anywhere from 25 to 30 MPH, depending on the riders weight. Modified bikes can reach up to 50 MPH.

 

Q 2.  How many miles per gallon do these bikes get?

A.  After the engine is broken in you get about 120 miles per gallon. With these tanks being half gallon tanks you would get about 60 miles per tank.

 

Q 3.  How long do the engines last?

A.  If broken in properly and well maintained, these engines were made to last around 10,000 miles.

 

 

Q 4.  How do you control the speed?

A.  There is a throttle on the right handle that controls the speed of the bike just like a motorcycle. Starting out you would not turn the throttle as much, once the engines kicks in you would be able to turn the throttle to speed up to a speed you are comfortable with. Q 5.  What kind of gas do I use and how do I mix the gas and oil?

A.  We recommend using 91 octane gas. For mixing we recommend getting a red gallon gas can and filling it with a gallon of gas. During the brake in period you would add 8oz of synthetic two stroke oil straight to the red gas can. Once the brake in period is over you would bring the oil mixture down to 6oz of synthetic two stoke oil. Make sure to mix the red gas can before each fill up to make sure gas and oil are completley mixed! If you have any questions about the brake in period please check out our Bike Care page.
